Crafts

The youth of Salem have many crafting opportunities to encourage creativity and giving. At Christmas, their popular handmade crafts are offered for sale-by-donation with the collected money going to a charity of their choice.

The children and youth also have participated in the denomination-wide Climate Hope art contest sponsored by the Environmental Justice Ministries of our national church. Some of Salem kids’ artwork has even been chosen and part of the national finalists! https://www.ucc.org/ClimateHopeCards/.
